'Delfshaven'

Historic Delfshaven is worth a visit! There the visitor can breathe the fine air of the glory of the past. Visiting the VOC, Pilgrim Church, Piet Heyn the old ware houses (in which now the Museum de Dubbelde Palmboom.) and the old genever distilleries.

Since 1993, in the restored monumental and listed building- formerly the Henkes Genever Distillery- we find Jasper Hooykaas, the antiquarian. He owns the Maritime Art- and Antique shop "Delfshaven", which has a substantial collections nautica, like ship models, naval instruments, shipping bells and navigation maps and charts.

But------ as Jasper ponders about himself "I am a generalist". In the cordial atmosphere of his gallery one comes across a surprising wide choice of articles like china and earthenware, bronze , brass and silver  etc .etc. Do drop in!

Furthermore has Jasper established himself as one of the better prints dealers in the area. He offers a very wide variety of original prints, engravings and maps covering a wide choice of subjects.
